This exhibition displays a series of acrylic pour and canvas paintings. Drawn from the artist's own personal experience, the various works represent moments of new understanding, exploration, response, and change. Some of these themes are depicted through expressive landscapes. Others are found in the fluid organic forms of acrylic pour painting. The viewer is invited to pause and form their own personal response and to be open to a new mental, emotional, and even spiritual experience. About the Artist: Madalyn Ledesma is a Syracuse University Alumna and owner of War Paint Artwork. Her work includes acrylic paintings on canvas, acrylic pour paintings, handmade journals, jewelry, and bookmarks. She also teaches introductory pouring classes and has a vision to host events encouraging creativity in the Westcott Neighborhood. Madalyn has been active in the Westcott art community for the past 10 years by supporting a culture of expression at UCF of Syracuse and participating annually in the Westcott Art Trail.
