Summer
The bubbles float,
The air is sweet
The insects buzz,
The pounding heat
Days are short,
But fun stays long
Everyone knows,
Summer sings its song
Ice cream melts,
Pools splash
Flowers blossom,
In a flash
Children laugh
“School is out!”
and Boats sail by,
Summer’s here: without a doubt!
