1920: Reproductions of portraits, photographs and etchings totaling more than 20,000 items made available for borrowing

White Branch - 1925

1925: North Branch Library moves from its location in a South Alvord St. house to a new brick library building on Butternut St. and is renamed the Charles White Branch

1926: West End Branch moved to a leased house at 1721 W. Genesee St. and named the Frederick R. Hazard Branch

Eastwood Sub-Branch - 19261926: Eastwood annexed to Syracuse and the Eastwood Village Library became the Eastwood Sub-Branch of the Syracuse Public Library

1927: Elmwood Branch Library opened at a home at 813 South Ave. under the direction of Miss May Burchill

Valley Branch Library - 19271927: Valley Branch Library opened at a home at 4507 South Salina St. under the direction of Misses Lucille Hornden and Alice James      

1928: One library card now valid in at Central Library and all branches and substations
