Substitute Librarian Positions
The Northern Onondaga Public Library is seeking qualified librarians to substitute at libraries in Brewerton, Cicero and North Syracuse.
Hours: are not set or guaranteed, as substitutes will be called on an “as needed basis”, but available shifts will typically be Monday through Thursday, 5 pm to 8 pm, and Saturday, 9 am to 3 pm.
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour. No benefits are included
Duties/Description: Provide reference and readers advisory service for patrons of all ages, conduct database searches, and assist patrons using public computers.
Requirements: Candidates must have recent library experience, ALA accredited MLS degree and a valid New York State Public Librarian’s Certificate. Other requirements include:
